GAP Insurance

Guaranteed Auto Protection (or GAP) is an insurance product that protects you in the event of your vehicle being deemed a total loss. The “GAP” is the term utilized to describe the difference between the amount owed on the loan and the amount paid by your insurance company in the way of a settlement. If you do not have GAP insurance, you are responsible for paying this difference. In many cases, this can be a substantial amount – especially if you have only owned your car for a short period of time. GAP insurance is very affordable and a tremendous benefit for you as a vehicle owner because you have the peace of mind knowing that you will not be responsible for thousands of dollars if this unfortunate event occurs. Extended Warranty

When refinancing your vehicle, it is important to make sure that you have the ability to get your vehicle repaired when a problem occurs. Adding an extended warranty is a great opportunity to minimize your out of pocket expenses in the event of a mechanical break-down. Manufacturers offer a limited warranty on a vehicle when it is new, but it’s a good idea to have warranty coverage for the life of your loan, please speak with your Loan Officer for more details to make sure you are properly covered.
